Lori and I have been talking alot about caregivers dementia. I kept on asking her if there is such a thing, and she said there was. Well, knowing me, she knew I needed proof. Well this came up just in the nick of time. Here's an article on it that she sent me today from our sister forum. Although her journey with caregiving is over, she still is in the habit of multi-tasking, and her CD has not yet ended. She toasts eggo waffles, and they pop up, only for her to find out that she never did put that darn thing in.

So to all the Lori's and Jackies out there, it will go away eventually. Just in time I hope for it not to go from CD to AD!!

Jackie

Don't know how scientific this is, but I seem to be hitting the middle stages. I think I may actually be progressing faster then Mom. lol

Wow, thank you Jackie. I was beginning to think I was going crazy. There are days when I don't remember my own name. Nice to know there is help for the caregivers.
Just too much to do everyday.

Thank you Thank you

Thanks for posting this!

There are some days I just can't get my head on straight. I've joked in the past that AD must be communicable because sometimes MIL remembers stuff I don't even recollect!
