:D Last night we attended our annual Volunteer Banquet to mix and mingle with the folk from our area. It looks like we may at least give it a try in starting our own local Early/OnsetEarly Stage Support Group. I was told that we now have 3 with FTD in the 40's to 61 and a couple of families with EOAD. So, I think my awesome husband is going to go to the the training sessions and give it a shot.

On a bigger note there was a new award created this year, very prestigious just above Advocate of the The year in which my family received and that was Champion of The Year Award. This was an award that a person or family has gone beyond the duty of raising funds, being a part of and starting their own program which was Camp Building Bridges. We received one of only two standing ovations given last night and that was a a very great honor to even be considered for such an award. The is one award that was given and received truly from them heart.

Tracy,
If any one or family deserves this away it is you and your family. You have truly gone beyond the duty of raising funds and starting Camp Building Bridges. Congratulations on getting this award.
I think you know how much the people here admire the work you've done, now you know that others do, also.
You have my standing ovation and it is an honor to know you.
