Joyce, yes, I would prefer to share the ride with you and any others that come, too. My Exchange student daughter lives in Chicago. I can find out through her which ones are close to the exhibit without being too pricey.

Deb,
I'll get it touch with you when I get back down state on the 20th of this month.

I think we have the motel all arranged, I haven't talked to Lori in a few days but she and AnnR found one in Willowbrook about 22 miles from where the showing will be and I've checked with my daug. and also her husband; he said the hotel isn't the Waldorf but it is nice and clean and not too expensive. My daughter works with a lot of people that live around that area and they say it is a nice area.
I'll try to get in touch with Lori and possibly get reservations set up.

Everyone that plans on staying there with us, let us know so we have enough rooms reserved.

How are plans coming along? I'm getting the house cleaned up so that I don't have to worry about it while we are gone. my fur baby is not going to like being left in her cage all day, but it's better than having DH return home from work and find pee and poop everywhere.

Is there anything besides mayo and ketchup packets I need to bring along?

What is the time schedule for meeting me to pick me up at the Airport Meijers in Jackson?

Hay, the Willowbrook Ballroom on ARcher Ave. (not sure if its near the hotel) is supposed to be haunted by the ghost of Resurrection Mary, the Hitchhiking Ghost.
Can't wait to meet-up with you all.
Take care
Eileen

A quick update. Our quilts and all the others (over 60) looked great - very moving!!
We took lots of pics, I have to re-learn Photobucket to post here. Or PM for my Walgreens photo account.
What a wonderful group of ladies, kind, friendly and damn funny!!
I'm so glad to have met you all.
Peace
Eileen

We didn't have time to cry. We just had too much fun laughing and getting acquainted. The getting acquainted part didn't take long, it was like we had always known each other.
Thanks to Jackie and Lori, we didn't go hungry. They needed a dolly to bring all the food in.
