I doubt that I will have time to come here tomorrow, but I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
It's been a long hard year but I can still think of a lot of things to be thankful for.
Just take a few minutes to thank God for all he has done for you and your LOs.

I love all of you and getting to know and meet you is one of the things I am thankful for.

Hi All - Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for loving family and friends to help me through the tough times.
Its gettng rough here - Dad had to go on Haldol - was screaming at all hours of day/night.
Each day is a new begining and I try to take it one day at a time.
Take care
Eileen

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!

I am thankful for the experience of being a caregiver... it has made me stronger and a lot more helpful to others going through similar situations. I am thankful for my work and my clients, and I am thankful for my supportive husband and children.

I ate a lot today, and yet, no where near as much as I have eaten at past TGD celebrations. I think I finally got the cornbread stuffing to taste 'purt near' like what my Mom and Grandmom used to serve. Only took me, um, 34 years to get the right combination of herbs and veggies and cornbread!

Take care! I'll be back later this week!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day. I spent the day with family. Not only did I eat a ton of food but they sent a bunch with me for my friends out in the desert. My niece's even got together some blankets and pillows for my fellow homeless friends.

Joyce, you were especially on my mind. I hope that being busy and being surrounded by family made the day a bit easier for you.

God bless all of you.

There you are Friend. I've been thinking about you and hoping everything was going well for you.
My day was busy and will continue that way until Sun. when they all go home. Thank you for thinking of me. There were just a couple quick minutes that I started thinking but I forced myself to get busy again and go on.
Lori,
Tom and Sandy came down state and Tom installed a garage door and opener for me. He will be back in the spring to put a bath in the basement for me. You should see what he did with my deck up north. Removed the railing on the end facing the garage, removed the tree that was there and built me another 12x14 deck a step down for my grill. How about that for a neighbor. I forgot to say he got ticked at me for offering him money. I had to give it to Sandy.

Give me a call when you get a chance.

Guess I'm a little late in wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but I sure hope all went well with all. The best part of mine was making butter out of the extra whipping cream with the five grandchildren, they had a ball especially the three younger ones. We sat on the floor and whipped that cream until magic appeared. The little ones got so excited!! They ate it on crackers like they never had butter before. But knowing they made it from whipping cream made it taste so much better of course.

Mom was good that day as everyone occupied her the whole day. But she is now back to saying Jackie, Jackie, Jackie all her waking hours. Xanax doesn't seem to be doing much good anymore. She's awake all day with no naps and sleeps an average of four hours a night, and thats with a lunesta and a xanax.

Have to start interviewing live in's soon. The money is getting really low and I can't let my girls go without having any help. It will be half the price with a live in, but privacy will of course be worse with a live in.

So right now I'm thankful for hubby, the kids and my grandchildren. Other than that - pooey!!!

Talk soon everyone - I love you all and also thankful for knowing all of you.

Jackie
