Hey friends, just wanted to wish everyone a great weekend. I know the world is filled with frustration and insanity right now, and our own private lives many times aren't much simpler, so for the next 2 days try and erase your mind from all the junk that we are fed by TV everyday, and if possible try and leave the personal worries for next week, you will thank yourself Monday. Have a relaxing weekend! 8)

I didn't realize it was the weekend, Aitan. That's one of the problems or is it a benefit of being retired? What ever day it is I'm trying to make the best of it. I hope your weekend is full of friends and fun.

The next time you're here show us some pictures and let us know how big that nephew is.

How are grandma and grandpa doing?

Thank you, Aitan. Now, take your own advice and enjoy whatever situation you might find yourself in!

Thanks Aitan! AND, thank you for the help with my mailing problem.

I guess I will take it easy this weekend. I had an unexpected procedure at the Colon/Rectal Surgeon's office yesterday. I will only say "ligation" so I don't gross you guys out. Colonoscopy scheduled for May.

Good thing the weather is going to be warm and sunny all weekend. I need to thin out a smallish Hawthorne tree in the front yard. It is our "Chuck Tree", planted by the best friend of my BIL, in BIL's memory. Darn thing gets rust disease, so I need to help the air flow. I guess I will offer to pay "The Little One" to help me out. I can just sit(er, stand) and direct.

You didn't tell me you had a doctor's appointment when we were together. I hope everything is ok.

Do you really think you can gross out an AD caregiver? We've seen it all.

No rest for me this weekend. I put the house up for sale yesterday and now I need to start getting rid of stuff. UGH!

And Maebee, Joyce is right. Nothing could gross out this group. Hope your tests turn out ok.

Hi Aitan, I wasn't able to reply to your weekend post last week so I'm wishing you a restful, relaxing, happy weekend this week.

Hi Maebee, I'm glad if your week flew by for you. That must mean you had a good week. My week crawled by minute by minute. It was a week of changes and cold sores for my mom which has stressed me out. Next week has to be better. Have a nice weekend.
