I just talked to her, and although I was afraid to call (you never know what is going on there? ) she sounded...good? Upbeat, and happy I am coming? So, wish me luck, not too much stress, and "Happy Birthday" to my Mom, she will be 85, on March 31st, which is a...miracle! :D

Thanks you guys. I always feel like it is Christmas, once I have my ticket. I'm hauling my Lap-Top, for moral support, so you will probably get a blow-by-blow!

Have a great time visiting with your Mom. And you might want to record us all singing, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" to her.

Then again..... maybe not.

I got the 'green' light from Eva tonight, and even though I didn't need it, it always makes me feel better, that she is not mad at me, or anything. So, I am doing laundry, laundry, laundry, and Lori, I am having weird symptoms too! I think I might have shingles, but they don't hurt yet? Anyway, the only reason it matters, is they are very contagious, and Mom already had them this last year, so I guess I wouldn't go?

I am also exhausted, but I can die llater, right?

Eva's E-Mail:

"I am sorry, It is been a hectic week, and I just open my emails. Your Mom will be delighted to see you, and spend a quality time together, and you are the one that she needs to help her with new wardrobe, and other lady stuff. Look forward to see you again. You know it is a good timing because I will be attending a weekend retreat on the last week of this month."

Eva

I didn't know shingles were contagious. Guess if they're are cause by chicken pox virus they would be. I've had them and Bill had them. Not at the same time or even close. They aren't any fun, I do know that. I hope you don't have them for your comfort.

When are you leaving for your mother's?

March 24th. I don't have time to go to the Doctor, but think these would have gotten painful, by now?

Anyway, I did find it a little demeaning, that Eva thinks I just come, to treat my Mom like a Barbie Doll, but the truth is, no one else 'cares' if she changes her clothes, has any clothes, showers, washes her hair, etc. So it is a hygiene issue. But I am still glad tha Eva and I are still getting along, because I threatened to have her fired, basically, over the self-injecting issue. She "IS" a Mandatory Reporter, I would think my Mom's attorney woud be, but I guess not?

I am getting excited to 'see' my Mamma! I'm coming.....Mudder!

Sky,
It sounds to me, that Eva knows that you realize what a proud woman your Mom still is, and no one else cares about that. Of course, the hygiene is important, but you make your Mom feel extra special!

I can't wait to hear your "reports"!

Thanks Maebee! It couldn't be soon enough for me! I just attended a funeral today, and it reminded me how very fragile, life itself is, even if you are not sick? (The gal that was killed in our explosion, she was 36!) I need to see her (my Mom!) and Love & Hug her...soon!

P.S. I'll probably be reporting from "Starbucks!" You NEVER know, what may crop up, on these trips! Always...an adventure, to be sure!

All I know is that Nancy went to see her mother and is now back home. I saw that on Facebook.

Welcome home Nancy. Let us know how you mother is doing.
