Don't even have time to VENT! I hit a Lexus, w/ my rental car yesterday, I was so upset! Had to call APS, so watch & wait, for the ***t to REALLY hit the fan! I'm working like a SLAVE-GIRL and Tom, unlike my sweet mother is saying "I" create all his problems!!! I don't love him, I don't even like him, how do you all do this??? I may never come here again, as long as he is alive. Too hard on me.

I hope you got the insurance on the rental car, if not, your insurance should cover it. At least it would in Mich.
You can love someone without loving them all them time.

Ok Sky, deep breathing, deep breathing. It would be the same if you hit a Ford, GMC or a Lexus. Let the insurance handle it. That happens to all of us especially when we don't need it.

If you called APS then you should have called APS. We all know what your Mom is going through and you are her advocate. You don't have to like Tom or even love him, but you want what is best for both of them. Tom may be compromised as well, and hey, they both need help even if he won't willingly admit it.

You are so right Susan, you always are. Joyce, I had no choice,. I spilled my guts to the girl I hit, I felt so bad, and told her EVERYTHING! She contacted my Insurance, and they-WILL pay! And guess what, no DEDUCTABLE? It's covered under Liability? I couldn't help but to think of that family, returning from Hawaii, to Sonoma County, from celebrating Thanksgiving there. A Mom, Dad, and two young children, all killed? Horrible. My rates may go up, but it could have been worse, much, much, worse.
