WOW Deb,

I was beginning to think everyone had left the forum. I keep coming but no one else is around. I've resorted to the old place just to have someone else to talk to.

Glad you're still here

Don't worry, we have not abandoned you. I think a lot of us do a lot of lurking. :)

Just busy with mom so haven't had time to write. She is sitting and eating right now so have a few seconds. I am still here tho'. Have checked back a couple of times to read how everyone is doing. Glad you all had a Merry Christmas.

We had a great 2 1/2 days by the evening of the 27th mom just had to literally let of some steam (it was coming out her ears, lol) so she was yelling at my husband because it was too hot in the house but cold in her bedroom, go figure.

Anyway, glad your all still here.

Joyce,

Oh gosh no, I dont' think any of us are leaving or have left the forum. In my case been making sure everone is ok, and then getting off cause I can't sit too long. Knee and back have really been bad. So don't go to the other forum to talk too long, we'll all be back soon I'm sure. You know how the holidays are, everyone has to get all the mess still cleaned up from Christmas day. Seems like all of our energy was taken for this years holiday, at least mine was.

I used any energy I had left to already take down the few decorations for Christmas I had up.

So we should all be getting back into the swing of regularly coming on here soon. We will never forget our friends on here.

Jackie

Boy am I glad to see some familiar people. I was getting mighty lonesome.

I took all my decorations down Sunday. All my decorations consisted of a four and half foot tree and a crib scene that is just one piece. I really went all out this year. Hey, I did put up a tree. I wouldn't have done that if the grandkids hadn't come over to open presents. They needed a tree.

When you come to just read, Stop long enough to just say "I'M STILL HERE" Then I won't feel all alone.

Joyce,

You did better than me this year. I put up a 3 and a half ft. tree. It had lights on it plus its fiber optic. So I didn't even need ornaments. It was good enough. Oh, I did put my nice tree skirt around it though, and threw a few pine cones around it. First year I didn't put on my manger though. Felt kinda bad about that, but I got over it when I was in pain after just putting up that little tree.

Oh by the way Joyce, I'M STILL HERE!!!

Jackie,

I know I said to let me know you're here, but when I read that the tears started. I don't know how many times I have whispered those same three words to Bill when He seems so lost. "I'm still here, Honey", So I add another word but he is still my "Honey"

I really need all of you right now. This is another phase that I am going to have to adjust to. It's so hard to watch him agitated and it's hard to see him sedated so he isn't.

I want this to all end. I hate to see him this way.
I could use a few dozen prayers for the strength to get through this right now.

Joyce, we are here for you and will be here every step of the way. We know how hard and how heartbreaking this is for you. As I read your post, I could feel your pain. I would not relive this part of the disease again for all the money in the world. {{{{HUGS}}}} sweetie.

Joyce,

I'M STILL HERE MY FRIEND!!! We will be here for you every step of the way as you are always for us. We know how very hard this is for you. You have been the best caregiver I have ever had the honor to meet. You always go above and beyond and give us all faith that we CAN do this.

Prayers and thoughts are with you, and keep coming here saying what you want, when you want, anytime you want. We will always be here to listen. Wish we could just be right there with you, but we are in spirit my friend.

Jackie
