In honor and memory of Joyce and Bill's loving relationship:

ENOUGH FOREVER

It is as though my very soul has been silenced.
Snow falls, rain quietly washes the landscape
And the sounds of nature are eerily absent
As my heartbeat echoes throughout the rooms.

Like the sound, the colors fade into black and white
A night light flickers in the hallway, casting images;
Their movements hold me, trance-like I stare,
Wondering if the sound, the colors will return.

It seems only yesterday that our walk began,
Even in those youthful moments we were soul mates;
In later times we held our children and grandchildren,
And then turned once more to our journey together.

Now I sit here and wonder where the years went,
Remembering how we freely gave our hearts to one another;
And just in that one moment, I catch a glimpse of the light,
Hear the sounds, and know we wished and loved enough forever.

Joyce, once again I stand in awe of this great talent that God has given you. Your depth of feeling and the ability to express it are incredible.

I swear, if you don't publish something, I'm coming to Texas and smack you up side the head. :)

What a wonderful tribute to Joyce and Bill! She will be so touched by your words. You do have a special talent, Joyce and I agree with Lori--publish, publish, publish.
You are an inspirational poet.

Beautiful, Joyce!

What's that old song........Pirates have their Silver Swords......Poets have their Golden Words.......Wow, your words are definitely Golden as we all face this AD Pirate.

I didn't know you were in Texas. (Duh, I just now saw 'location' by the little picture thingies.) I'm waaaay down here in South Texas.

Lori, Jackie, come on down! I'll hold her while you smack her. But I promise to hold you real tight, Joyce, with my arms wrapped around that big Golden heart of yours!

(Jackie, did you get my pm?)

Do you think Joyce got the hint yet? I think she needs us as her advocates for these wonderful writings of hers. I sure hope a publisher one day gets on here for help, cause it may be the only way we can convince her how wonderful she is. And boy Texas right now sounds really good as I hate this cold weather more than ever!!!

Sam
Did not get your PM. My box was full and of course I didn't realize it. Everything is now deleted and I sent you a PM.

I'm willing to bet if you smack her too hard, she might not be able to put two words together after you get done with her. Run Joyce RUN!

Snick,

I'm running...I'm running. I'm headed south of here to pick up Cousin sames u and then we'll be coming your way. I would like to stay in your area at the you know where but let's communicate via PM's so these Violent Vivian's don't find out exactly where I will be. From your post, it really sounds as if you are going to provide me with some protection. I'm trusting you are not setting me up. If you are, then Cousin sames u will step in and nobody, I mean nobody, wants to mess with her. :P :P

:shock: Roses are red, violets are blue,
:shock: Is Lori violent and Jackie, too?

The above is a coded message, Snick. I know you will have no trouble figuring out the code.

Be seeing you around,

Joyce

Joyce,

I can't believe you trust Snicks. I mean come on, she's really good isn't she. No way I'd give her any kind of secret code. Look at her name alone. Now come on, you are really going to trust someone that's named after a candy bar? It does have nuts in it you know!

And then cousin samesu, or same as you, or whatever! Jackie and Lori are normal names!

Jackie

So what am I now? Cousin Bulldog?

Just found out The Master Jackie was in trouble. Sniffing around the back alley to find that hole in the fence so I could get to that heat and......."Git, you no-name stray dog!"

Joyce rattles the keys, teasing a ride so my ears can flap in this 85 degree wind. Where are we going, to the vet? Because Snick has chocolate poison!?

I'd rather be a cat.

Love,
Whats-her-name
