We're famous! I wish she hadn't said they came from Bozeman, Mt. but I did lose some creative control, once I sent it to New York. At least she didn't say I MADE it, which she was going to say 'made by me' but I nipped that one, in the bud!

By the way, I am passing the Quilt Baton to our Joycie. She has a square for her husband (or, I do that Lori made) and she has shown great interest in taking over this next panel. I am grateful, and will mail it off to her, on Monday. There may be some squares spots open, we only have two completed with Bio's, and need five for one panel. Joyce is going to try to make one for Jackie.

Check 'us' out! http://www.alzquilt.org/gallery_panels2.shtml then scroll, down. Ta Da!!!

I checked it out. Such a great job. I am a quilter so I appreciate all the work it took.

Cool, NL! Maybe you's like a square, in the next one? I didn't sew, one single stitch. Lori, made a bunch of them for us, and then "The Alzheimers Association Of America" paid for shipping, and then actually made the quilt panels. Very cool.

I hope no one "Googles" my Mom? It would be a hell-of-a-way to find out you have Alzheimers Disease?

I must say those quilts are very striking. They stand out and are so very neat and precise. A job well done and a labor of love, most definitely. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in this. AD has a face and people need to realize it can strike anyone, anywhere.

SKY,
I hope you read this before sending the package to me. I'd had for it to get there before I get back home. If it does the neighbor will take care of it until I get home, but I'd like to be there.

I promise everyone that I will do my best to keep the squares going. All I have to do is learn how to transfer the pictures and I'm pretty sure I can sew the pieces together forJosie to assemble. All I need is for you to send me a picture of your LO and I will do the rest. If you want to have a square made for your LO just IM me and I will give you my email address to mail all the bio information along with the picture.

Wish me luck on this project.

It's easy Joyce. The transfer paper just goes in your computer printer. You just print it like you would any picture.

Oh, that sounds pretty easy, Lori? Joyce I was going mail it today (Monday) but didn't get around to it, so I was going to mail it Fed-Ex Tomorrow. I don't think it requires a signaiture, but it does take at least 3-4 days, anyway? Is that enough time for you? Let me know. If your not in a hurry, neither am I.

Thanks for taking over this project Joyce. I think everyone else that has been involved, would probably tell you how rewarding it feels. After feeling so helpless, it is nice to do something, that may make a difference.

N.Mc.

I'm leaving Chicago today. I'll be staying at my sister's tonight and should be home tomorrow or Thur. at the latest. So if you mail it today, I should be home before it gets there.
I'll let you know when it arrives.

Thanks Sky!! The quilts look great. :D
To see all of our loved-ones faces on a quilt - to me it symbolizes the love and comfort we try to surround them with.
It was great fun - even though I couldn't sew very well.
Does Campingnana know what has happened to them? I saved all her instructions if anyone needs them.
Take Care
Eileen

Oh Great! I will mail them today, Joyce.

Eileen! I'm so glad you are pleased! Yes, I have been in pretty regular contact, with "Camingnana", and she is pleased too. Just busy, new job! Oh, and I am *Thrilled* to hear you have a copy of intructions, and the pattern. I don't like the idea that there is just "ONE" flying around out there, in the mail! I suspect now, when others see how cool it turned out, they may want to get onboard too. They still have, until sometime in July, which I have yet to hear. So they can make it out with ours, to the first city, of the 2009 tour! WOOOHOOOO!!!

N.Mc.

I have all of the info, too, if anyone needs it. I plan on making some pillows with the pattern.

I am just soooo impressed with all of us! I can't wait to see the next panels!!

Sky, it IS fitting, that it is stated that the quilt came from MT, as far as I am concerned. You had a HUGE part in getting this project completed.
My heartfelt thanks for all you do!!

AUHH.....Maebee, you are so kind? It is hard to please, all of the people, all the time, as the saying goes, but I think the majority of folks, are happy with it, and it was the very best, I could do. So, Thank-You!

Wow! Those are beautiful! I, too, thank you all for the labor of love. I can hardly thread a needle so am always in awe of the talent of sewing, especially 'scraps' into something so beautiful. What an honor for our loved ones. I would love a square for my mom. Will you count me in?

Hey, do you need fabric squares? Our 80 yr old friend was a seamstress all her life and has tons of fabric in her storeroom. I'm sure if she could do "something" to help, she would part with whatever you might need. She has lots of the old, good cotton and such. She doesn't sew like she used to but loves to still work with her hands and could cut squares to your measurements or whatever. Well, just a thought. It's kind of bold for me to offer her fabric, but once I was helping her clean out her storeroom and she joked, 'when I die, this will all be yours!' What the heck would I do with so much fabric? Well, let me know, then I'll ask her.

Thank you Sky and everyone!!!!!!!!!!
