We had a great time! :D Only 4 of us were able to make it : Joyce, Lori, Maebee and me. We ate at Olive Garden (you can't beat their all-you-can-eat soup and salad meal!!) We were together for around 5 hours and we talked and laughed and reminisced and told our favorite "AD" stories then talked and laughed some more. Our waiter took a picture of the 4 of us and I'm sure Lori or Maebee will post it for all to see. I took a very poor picture with my phone but have no way to upload it. Too bad, cuz I'm NOT in THAT picture. (Do you get the impression I don't like to have my picture taken???)

I had already met Joyce and meeting Lori and Maebee face to face was just like meeting old friends. We really do get to know each other so well here on the forum that finally seeing each other is a mere formality. No hesitance or awkwardness between any of us.

I, for one, would love to make this a regular event (so make sure you have lots of gas money, Lori) ........it is so good to talk to people who have "been there and done that." And I urge all of you who live within a reasonable proximity to try to get together -- it's so much better than a family reunion because you actually like these people

The meal was delicious and the company was even better. We did have a good time and it is like having family together.
If you're lucky enough to have others close enough to get together, I, too, say do it.

Absolutely a good day!! If Maebee doesn't beat me to it, I'll post a picture tomorrow. Right now I'm just too tuckered out.
I agree it's great to finally meet those we have met online. I have truly enjoyed the time I have spent here in Michigan. Joyce is so much like me, so you know how great she must be.
I'm on my way to Virginia tomorrow. Ann and I are building a house. Go ahead and scratch your heads over that one. (ok, it's a play house)

Darned lack of rain...! I had to report to work doing gardening with a private client. But I make more $$ with the private pays than I do through my paying job. With Hubby still out of work, I have to make up some lost income as much as I'm physically able. I sure did want to meet KarenLee and Lori. Well, I am planning on being on the trip to Chicago. Maybe I'll see Lori then!

OK, I finally have my new operating system, so I'll post the pic! I lost everything on my old computer. I mean everything. Pics, email, addys. It is all here, sitting on my old hard drive, in a box, which no one seems to think can be accessed.

Anywho, here we are!

Gosh, How I wish I could have been there! You four look like you're enjoying the visit. I hope to see some of you in the Chicago adventure!
