As you know, I am so sorry Nina. You have worked your little heart out, and God, and your MIL now know that. The fog that was AD has lifted, and I am sure she is *smiling* down on you, and would Thank-You, from the bottom of her heart, if she could. You watch for signs. She will share her appreciation with you.

Hang-In for the services, I know they will be hard. And PLEASE, stay in touch with us!

Maebee, I was just thinking how long I have known you? Has it been three, or four years? Anyway, way back when, I first started on the original Caregiver Board, it was Women like You & Mum, that prayed for me, encouraged me, and sent cute little photo hugs to me, and others. I will never forget it, and who knows, you may have save this one long-distance-caregiver from a complete & total breakdown. I Thank-You, from the bottom of my heart.

Maebee,

Sky has said it so well. You were your MIL's champion, and champion to so many of us on the other board. Although she wasn't under your direct care you were her advocate and we all admire you so much. I've said a prayer that Sis will allow you all to have whatever services you desire and that you will be together as a family once again.

I'm so sorry for your loss and so glad you got to be with her one more time. Prayers for you and hubby and the Big One and the Little One and yes for Sis too.

Nancy....what CAN I say???? THANK YOU, ALL!!!!

Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you theres no one else above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles thats what you do

For the morning sun in all its glory
Greets the day with hope and comfort too
You fill my life with laughter
And somehow you make it better
Ease my troubles thats what you do

You guys are really something! I am peeking through my tears, and trying to type. I hope I don't short-circuit my keyboard!
Believe it or not, I am watching the websites of funeral homes, to see if the funeral arrangements have been made. I do know that Mom is still at a funeral home near the hospital, and they are waiting instructions on what to do. This is truly bizarre. One comfort is that SIL did give the temporary funeral home permission to start the "process". I was very concerned about that. We have still had no communication from her at all.We have the deed to Mom's cemetery plot, and I don't even think SIL knows where Mom wanted to be buried-right next to my beloved BIL. And so, the saga continues. My doctor called in a prescription for Xanax, so I am kind of mellow right now. I can only take a little at a time-1/4 pill right now.

I spoke to a member of Mom's church Family, and we agreed she is singing in the Heavenly choir now. She loved the choir! I do know that there should be a service at her church. We'll see.

Nancy, the picture is beautiful! It has been a little over 3 years. I can't believe I have been on the boards for almost 4. I so miss the pictures. I will probably really wean myself away from the "other one" now. It is so busy, and not as comfortable as this one.

I think I have also learned my lesson in responding to JB. He is really an ass(excuse me). I guess I just give him fodder when I respond. I should have expected his meanness in his blog, but it did take me a little by surprise. I also kind of let him have it the other day, when he responded to "I feel guilty for not feeling guilty..." I even reported myself!!! AA answered that they looked and looked, and couldn't find the post, would I re-send the URL? I think I'll let them look. I don't care right now.

I'll be checking in, and let you know what is happening-or NOT happening. Can you believe it??

Dear Sweet Maebee...Now, I am crying! Jim...Who???? This is right where you belong. I am surprised it took you so long to find us. Yes, I can imagine, unfortunately, it can get, well, indescribably, weird. I wish I had a short video, of me trying to 'escape' the Hospice Hospital, on lock-down, after seeing my Father, for the last time, and then being discovered by his witch of a new-drama-queen wife. No service, no obit, no notice, to ANYONE! Cremated, and forgotten, but not by me.

Please stay tuned. I put the 'word' out tonight, and there will be many more showing up here, to support you!

Thank you,Thank you. I will go to bed tonight, with a warm feeling in my heart!
Still no word from SIL. Hubby has now tried email. Nothing yet.
I called my wonderful Niece, and we cried, then shared some wonderful stories. She has known my MIL since she was 7 or 8. She's now 29. My MIL treated my Family like her own. She has touched many lives.
Good night, Friends.

Dearest Little cub,

I am so sad this morning and know everyone is with me in sending sincere and heartfelt sympathies to you and your family.

Thank you Nancy for letting me know as Nina is so very dear to me as are all the "Cubs" who were born nearly 4 years ago now.

My heart is with you all at this sad time in your lives and my thoughts and prayers are sent across the pond to you all.

Maebee,

Your MIL and Bill are both singing in that choir.

God Bless you and be with you.

Thank-You Dear "MUM!" I knew we could always count on you! Today, well, yesterday is a very sad day indeed. We lost two GREAT people, Maebee's dear MIL, and Joyce lost her Bill. I feel so helpless, all I can do is empathize, & cry. There will be no sleep for me tonight. I am soooo glad you answered my E-Mail, from across the pond. You are the BEST!!!!!!

You an Maebee, have been our Rock. And I only hope we can be there for you & Maebee, and Joyce, now.

:-(
