Thank you everyone, we are so thrilled and still cannot believe she is here with us. Snickers, our oldest daughter's middle name is Kristine, and Keslie's mother and grandmother have the middle name of Christine, so welcome to our club, or are we welcome to your club?!
I took several 5X7 pictures of Emma over to show my mom and tell her about her new great-granddaughter yesterday. I showed her the picture and the first thing she said was, "Did you have another baby?"

Then I explained that she was David and Keslie's baby over and over, but it never seemed to register even though David and Keslie go visit her. She loved the pictures though and kept saying how cute she was and how pretty. She even talked to her pictures when I was busy doing something else, it was soo sweet. She said all kinds of funny things around the few things that made sense, but she loved on her pictures and that made me happy.
My dad seems quite cheered by little Emma's arrival which is wonderful. He needs more happiness these days. He held her the night she was born and told her she was born into a wild bunch and she had a lot to live up to!!! It was as though no one else was in the room when he was talking to her!
David, Keslie and Emma are doing splendidly, Emma is getting the hang of nursing more all the time, Keslie is calm and not stressed, she is such a dear. Did I mention I got to be there when she was born???? Ohhhh, what an experience to watch each person involved working together in such a calm, peaceful way to help Keslie give birth. David was incredible as was Keslie. ~Tears of joy~
Must run before I start bawling all over the keyboard, done enough of that lately!!!!
I thank each one of you for your encouragement. I think of you all the time and am amazed at the daily sacrificial labors you go to for your special ones. Keep up the good work each of you, you are an inspiration to many more than you will ever know.
Thankfully, ~Kelly~
