Need more participation

I really want this board to work and be a safe place for all of us.
We need more members and more participation though. Let's work on getting people over here to join us. :idea:

This is a lovely site.
I'm not banned at the other one.
I'd be happy to go over there and plant the seed for this site on
a bunch of threads. "Jaye" is the one who did that earlier, on one
thread at least, and that's how I got here.
Any specific suggestions, cap-ee-tahn?

Actually, it was the lovely Ms. Jane who steered me over
here. Sorry about the mistake (I know it's not really funny,
but sometimes I feel like I have "sympathetic Alz."
Jane, Lori, Moderator... is there any problem any of you
have if I go over to the AA board and promote this site?

Carol, I have no problem with you doing this, and actually would be very grateful. My only suggestion is that you do not post a thread titled "new caregiver forum" because the moderators of that site will most likely delete it. A better way to go about promotion is to integrate the invitation in your replies to other threads. Thanks for your support! My hope is that we can make this forum a place where all caregivers can feel comfortable to share their experiences and feelings with one another. Best of luck on your mission

I'm sure you can find somewhere to slip it in. Offer someone some advice and then say something like "by the way I usually post on another board if you would like to talk more about this". No one can get upset over that.

This is a really nice site. Glad it's here.
With all the isolation of having a spouse with AD;
(and friends leaving in grooves)
It's great to have more than one place to go and vent/visit!

I signed up a few days ago, but didn't have a chance until now to come on. Will be reading all posts soon, but for now, wanted to tell you I was here.

From the little I have read, it seems this is going to be another safe place to be.
