OK.

I understand.

I will stay within the confines of the threads that I am welcome on.

I won't cross over again.

Val Girl-

Did I miss a post you did. Don't know why you would feel unwelcome on any thread on this forum. On some we get busy typing and don't always cover each post but for the most part I try and go back through the thread and cover whatever someone has said. And I know most others do too.

I don't know what happened either, Valentine Girl. Just always thought you were one of our beloved members.

A few days ago I tried posting a reply and kept getting a server error message. But at the same time posts from others popped up, so obviously the server was working for them. So I just figured I'd been suspended. Didn't seem unusual after AA shenanigans.

I don't know what the glitch was for me. Just hope whatever happened with you was a misunderstanding.

VG,
I have been so wrapped up in everything that has been going on here. I have not gotten to every post or every thread, however. The ones that I have gone to seemed very caring and loving. I do hope that what ever has happened to make you feel like you are not welcome on any thread here was a misunderstanding. I can't imagine that you have stepped over bounds any where.. I value you opinion in many ways. Sending extra hugs out to you!!!!!

D

I see No place here where you are not welcome VG, you are a well respected member of this forum. I am so sad you feel this way and hope as the others that this is just a misunderstanding.

Ok, what happened here?

Val Girl, if someone made you feel unwelcomed on any of the threads, please contact Aitan, Lori or Carol. Let them know of anything that has happen. Let's nip this in the bud now. I know they "do not" want any of this to start on this wonderful forum. You can go into any thread that you want. We are here for you, and you for us.

You crossover anytime you feel the need to.

Love,
Jackie

Hello All,

As I mentioned in the announcement in the "general discussion" forum there will be times when there are servers problems. However, most of the time when you get a server error it's because of a minor glitch. I usually resolve this for myself by clicking on the "back" button in your internet browser, and then try accessing the post you want to access again. When major server updates are being done you will usually get a "server updating" message and that will take 10-15 minutes to do; this seldom happens, however.

I have been keeping up with the forum posts and it seems to me like our family here is growing closer and more comfortable with one another. I haven't seen any disrespectful posts by anyone, and on the contrary everyone has been very supportive to others. However, if you are having issues with any topics or members on the forum please contact myself, Lori, or Carol, and we can work to resolve these problems before they become issues.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

~Aitan

Hi VG!!

I saw the question you posted on the QM & FT thread about a super cool toy for your 6 yo g'son.......

My g'son is also 6, and he has a scooter like you described. He LOVES it!! Is it dangerous? Probably, but he has exceptionally good balance and coordination.

This year his "wish list" includes a digital camera and MP3 player or iPod (kid friendly), anything "Transformers" or "Power Rangers," and some PS2 games. He also really enjoys his "Leap Pad" and there are a ton of games for that with "fun" educational adventures.

Hopefully this helps you a little. Happy shopping :D :D :D

P.S. As far as I'm concerned you are welcome (and valued) anywhere your mouse wants to travel on this site. :D

Val Gal,
My grandson has a scooter too. As far as I'm concerned, anything that they do moving is dangerous to me (ha-ha)

My other 2 grandsons have those battery operated cars. Those are really nice too!

When I want to buy something for the grandchildren, I have them make a list of 4 or 5 things. This way they really don't know what their getting for sure.

I really like the motorized car. My two grandsons have so much fun with the car. Actually they have a jeep. I didn't buy it for them, the other grandparents did. I have 5 grandchildren, so if I spend two to three hundred dollars on one, I'd have to on the others.

Go to a toy store when you have a chance. I love toy stores. I'm not a shopper, but I love toy stores. You will have a ball in there. I quarantee by the time you leave, there will be no doubt in your mind what you want to buy.

Thats the only reason I really like Christmas and Birthdays, I love to play with the toys in the store and push all the demo buttons on the talking and musical toys.

One time there was a row of all these talking toys. I pushed all the buttons on them, and I ran off before anyone saw me. It was soooo much fun. I felt like a kid again. Try it. But put on your running shoes, because if you get caught, talk about embarrasing huh?

Love,
Jackie

ValGal,
You are welcomed, loved, and appreciated on ALL threads.
Don't know what happened, but please contact one or all three
of the "moderators" as soon as something not right occurs.
It could be a simple glitch (i've been experiencing alot of those
myself), and I'd hate for you to feel bad for any reason, but
especially over a glitch. :D
We love you,
Carol

Thank you EVERYONE for your kind words.

It wasn't a glitch.

It was something else that hurt my feelings. I am probably much too sensitive these days. My feelings are just raw and I get hurt easily.

I should not have mentioned it. I didn't mean to upset other people.

I will just try to get past it.

Thank you for caring.

You know what, sweety?
You are among friends. If your feelings are raw and they
get more easily hurt than some of us who have rawhide wrapped
around our hearts, then I am just so glad you feel comfortable
enough to tell us. Thanks for letting us know.
Have your visited the "Creative Outlet" forum much yet?
I find it to be surrealistically calming.
A wonderful, restful, poignant place.
See ya 'round the village!
Carol
