I just E-Mailed my Sister #1, and told her I didn't think my other sister, even came close to doing the 'intake' with "Maxim" or any of the other Home Health Companies, I researched! And if she (Sister #1, who has HPOA) was going this month as planned, if so, could she do the intake? And that I think my other Sister (Sister #2) is in the middle of another Emotional Break Down? Stayed for a week, cried on Mom's shoulder, took more money, no doubt, and LEFT!

My sister replies: "Yes, I am going from October 17th-27th. I am glad we are taking turns, but also think, they need a BREAK! Need a BREAK? From what, appropriate care??? OMG! She is either crazy, deluded, or just doesn't give a crap! ARGGGGG!!!!!!

P.S. I asked her if Mother didn't cry every time she leaves, asking "Who is going to take care of me, when you leave?" because she does, every time I go, and I cry on the airplane, so I don't upset her! And frankly, I don't have a clue, WHO is going to take care of her, while I'm gone!!!!

I think I need to give them an ultimatum. Either Mother gets more care, or I am calling APS, and having her removed, from that Hell-Hole! There is no where for her to go, and she would be devastated, to leave Tom? I am so STUCK! ARG!!! Not that I actually COULD get her removed, because APS is even more USELESS, than both of my Sister's, put together! ARGGGGG My head is going to explode.

I need some legal advice, and have no $$$. I think I would be eligible for legal-aide here, but not in California, which is where I need it? HELP!!!!

P.S. The problem with any legal advice, is it has to be in the State that your Loved One lives in. Unfortunately, an Elder Care Attorney runs about $450.00 per hour, near Mom! I consulted with one, when I was "READY" to sell my Condo, and go fight for Conservatorship over Mom, but she (the attorney) talked me out of it. She said it would be "SIX" of us in Court, (Me & her, Mom & her Attorney, that I got for her, & Tom & his Attorney!) and not much promise, of winning? Then both Mom & I would be "HOMELESS" so what good would that do?
