Don't worry Jackie, I still suffer from caregiver's dementia. I don't know how long it takes to get back to normal. As I was undressing for bed last night I realized I had been wearing my bra inside out all day. :)

Lori,
Just be thankful you weren't wearing it on the outside.
I've even given up wearing one all together out here in the woods. The animals haven't complained yet.

Kat,

Dense as fog? NO!! A worn out caregiver? You bet!

Boy the stories I could tell you about being dense as fog! I just keep blaming it on what Lori always tells me it is-Caregivers Dementia. God, what excuse will I use when Mom's gone. I know - "gee, I must not have enough to do"!

Jackie

Aw thanks, I feel fried lately lol! :D

LOL :D I must have that. I lost a pair of my underwear somewhere on our side of the house, I think the dryer ate it. I did laundry last night and forgot to add detergent LOL! :D

Kat,

When you find those underwear, will you tell me where the heck I could have put a brand new pair of black jeans? And oh, my heating pad too. I know I have that darn thing somewhere. Looked through every nook and cranny in this house.

And laundry? Ok, you forgot the detergent. Hmm - I seem to forget to even do it! Or, have put the laundry in and added the detergent, and get an interruption from Mom. Forget about turning the washer on, think its done 20 minutes later, to find out I never did turn on that darn thing.

So if this things got a name like caregivers dementia, I'm taking it. It seems so much kinder than saying I might be going insane!!!

:D

Did you ever find the jeans or your heating pad? I have to hide our heating pad from MIL, she loves those things. She has the original one from her mom made of leather!

:D My tablespoon measurement has walked off too lol, no clue where it's gone. I think the time warp from the fridge is spreading lol! :D

Guess what? I did find the heating pad. The only place I didn't look is in a closet where I keep all my towels. Guess if I would have straightened out that darn thing, I might have found it sooner. It was buried in the towels!

Uh Kat, did you happen to look in MIL's drawer to see if she might have taken the missing underwear? Oh that would be so very funny!!

Talking about laundry. I woke up one morning remembering that I had forgotten to turn the dryer on after putting the clothes in. I went to turn it on and checked the clothes first, they were dry. Thinking I must have just forgotten that I had turned it on, I started to take them out. Only then did I realize that I was looking in the washer not the dryer. I had forgotten to turn the washer on to wash them. How do you mix up the washer and the dryer? One loads from the top and the other from the front. That's true CD.

Oh Joyce,

How "do" you mix up the washer and the dryer? Please, whatever you do, don't mix up any other appliances! Could really be a disaster!

And oh the heating pad that I finally found? Guess I had it hidden for a reason. Plugged it in last night to try on my knee, and it didn't work! Wouldn't you have thought I would have dumped it!

Hi Ann,
I'm soooo happy that you found a good
place. That's not necessarily easy!
