This morning we had to get up early to go get our hair done for Vegas (leaving tomorrow). WELL, I woke up kind of late. Enough time for me, but not enough time for mom.

She did get her makeup on, but then she wanted to curl her hair. And have coffee. And smoke. None of which I let her do because we had to leave to get there on time.

So today I am getting dirty looks and she has called me grouchy and bossy. She also wants to pack right now and I am resisting because I know she will rummage through the suitcase a million times before tomorrow and I don't want to be missing anything when we get there.

Oh, my! Judy, I hope you have a rip-roarin' time!

Well, you're in good company then because I'm *always* grouchy and bossy!

Well, since the original post she packed while I was napping. This is a 6-day trip:

14 shirts
Makeup
6 pr disposable underwear
20 hangars

I'll repack her tomorrow. That packing must have settled whatever the urge was because she's watching TV now.

I tried to rush my Mom once too and had a similar experience. It's tough. Caregivers always have to be so darn prepared for everything. Ugh. I don't know how you guys do it! Hats off to you!!
