Joyce,

You are right, I realized it when I actually read the lyrics you posted. When my mom passed in August that was the only song I fought to have played at my mom's Funeral Mass.

Bill loved that song Anita. When the girls and I were picking songs to be sung at the funeral mass, we completely forgot about it. Our oldest daughter spoke at the scripture reading the night before the funeral and mentioned how she just remembered it and wished we had picked it. The day of the funeral I ask the organist and the soloist if they would sing it as the people were coming into the church and they did. It just completed the mass.
