I just received a phone call, from Josie, from "The Alzheimers Foundation" and she had a few questions for me, sbout the title of our Quilt Panels, and I said I would like it to respect the living (there are still a few of us, so made by Patients, AND Caregivers) and could be pretty generic, about how & where we met (I didn't want a 'link' posted for our adcaregiver site) And the the good news! The first City on tour will be CHICAGO! I know a lot of you could make it there in September, and if there is ANY way $$$ is available for Airfare, I will go too!

So, Joyce, I got the thumbs up, if you want to mail your square to Josie, or anyone else has one, or gets one made (I have one) and we get five total, we can have them make us another Panel, that can join the others, on tour! She still has plenty of fabric, so they will look exactly the same! She did say she would need them by sometime in July, and that we can mail them seperately to her, no problem!

She also told me she 'joined' our message board, and as soon as she has a moment, will post info, and introduce herself!

"CHICAGO, HERE WE COME!" :D

Sky,

I don't have Bill's square. Not sure who has it. Lori do you still have it? I would love to have Bill included in one of the quilts.

Bill, where are you?

I will be in Chicago in September if the quilts are here. I hope Bill is here, too.
Love you,

I sent Bill to Sky along with the pattern for the squares. I think he is still floating in the mail system.

Thanks Lori.

Where are you floating to. If you make it to Michigan, I have plenty of room to float around in. Four bedrooms down state and three up north also a small one room house for the over flow of guests. You're welcome either place. Better try for the north because I'll be going there when I get home from Chicago.

Joyce, send me your north address and I might just make it up there. I'm really pretty free to go anywhere.

Wonderful! Where do you live, Eileen? And didn't I have a quilt square, for your Dad? If so, did you see that they are done, and hanging in FOA Headquarters? They are really beautiful.

Oh my, I can't believe that Chicago will be the first stop for the quilt showing. Definitley, absolutley count me in! I'm sure I'll be feeling great by that time, I'd better damned well be, and we will have to meet and party!

We'll talk about arrangements to get together as the date gets closer. I can't have everyone here of course, but maybe Eileen and I can find a nice mid priced hotel that we can all meet at. Anyhow, closer to the date, we'll figure it out.

Gosh, I can't believe that some of you will be in Chicago. Hip, Hip Horray.

Ok, now if you have a square left, what exactly do I do?? Send a picture of Mom and to whom? Anyhow, need some details - Sky? Lori?

Jackie

Jackie,
Are you still working on your mom's picture and bio?
I have four squares finished and am expecting to get the fifth picture this weekend.
It's a first come first serve thing so hurry up with the picture. I want to get these five into Brenda to get another quilt done.

I have heard from Ann, Jackie, Kelly and SamesU and am just waiting for their pictures. I hope your dad said yes, Kelly.

I haven't heard from Mundee and Snick; are you two interested in a square?

I think everyone above has my tele. number so give me a call if you have any questions. Anyone else , let me know here that you would like one and I will send you my email.

I would love to get two more quilts made in time for the showing, Don't keep putting it off like I did the first time around. Get your pictures to me so your LO can be included in the quilt.
