What is the name of that book you were telling me about on grieving? It was over on "another" board and I had looked it up on Amazon but my searches don't come up now.

There is no rush as I know things are busy with your mom and all. Just when you get the chance, drop me a line. Take care and I am still keeping you in my thoughts.

Oh I'm right here Snick. The book is called A Grace Disguised - How The Soul Grows Through Loss by Gerald Sittser.
It is so good. I read it a long time( year and a half ) after Daddy died but was so comforted by it. I'm so glad you are going to get it. Katerin

Hi Snickers,

When my dad died, I had a really great book called "Grieving the Loss of a Loved One" by Kathe Wunneberger. It is a book w/ space to journal your thoughts after you read the little sections. Very good. I read it twice...in one night. I didn't journal much, but the book really got me through alot.

Snick,
I read the book, "A Grace disguised" too and found it to be very helpful. First Twice Blessed recommended it too me and then Katerin. As I mentioned in another post, I found great comfort in Henri Nouwen's "Turn your mourning into dancing."

Reading, journaling and praying was a key to my journey through grief. I pray you too will find it so.
