Chris thanks for that link too! I'm not afraid of paperwork, I'm getting to be quite good at it!

Denise, hoping everything turns out fine and let us know!

Hope your day has been better Denise. Wow, that is very cool becoming grandma for first time! Nothing like it I'll tell ya. I was in the delivery room when my first gbaby was born, and it was so exciting. Do you know if the baby is a boy or a girl? Has the name been chosen yet? Babies are so sweet. 19 days early is not bad at all. My second gbaby was 7 weeks early, and tiny...but is an 8 year old blonde haired blue eyed beauty now! PLEASE keep us posted on the arrival of the dear blessing! Try not to wear all the numbers off of the phone, you will want to be able to call everyone and brag when the time comes grandma!!!

Whew.. still in waiting mode.. they sent daughter home last night about 8:00 she ahs a really bad UTI, so they gave her an injection of antibiotics and she has to go back into the hospital tonight to be monitored and to have more test run..

Yes we know that she is having an girl and they are goign to name her Alayia Faith.. One thing that is so nerve racking about this is my daughter is an only child and she lives 7 hours away from me.. so I can't be there the whole time. However my parents (Mom and Dad) and my Brother and SIL live up there within 30 miles of her, so she will have family with her when the time comes. My SIL is a nurse and my bro is a capt. of a Fire Department / EMT so she is in good hands in case of emergency.

The only problem is my parents had to leave town and still hasn't returned. This will be my Mom's first Great Grandchild and my Mom is planning on being in teh delivery room with my daughter since I can't be there. I did get it set up with the doctor to be able to have a speaker phone set up in teh delivery room so I can listen to everything during the birth since I can not be there.

I heard the heart beat on Monday afternoon for the first time they let my daughter call me when they had her hooked to the monitor so that I could hear the babies heart beat.. that was pretty neat.. and I just cried and cried.. to hear that wonderful sound!!!!!!!!! God is truly an awesome God isn't he?????

Well at least it sounds like she has good doctors who know what they are doing. I didn't realize you lived so far from her. Don't know how I missed that. Now I understand why you are on pins and needles. Take deep breaths Grandma, not too much longer now. :D
