Hello,

It's me Kathy, I care for my Dad who is 79, has Alzheimer's and lives with me. I am 37 and work full time in addition to caring for Dad full time).

I started writing a daily blog back in January, trying to write down one lighthearted or helpful story about caring for my Dad every day.

I have had over 500 caregivers to read the blog, and the feedback I get shows me that it makes people see the funny along with the crappy. It sure helps me be a better caregiver by focusing on the positive!

Over the last three years since Dad has lived with me, I have gathered a lot of information about Alzheimer's, Caregiving, resources, medications, etc. I have added that information to my website:

www.KnowItAlz.com

I hope that some of you will share your stories for the personal stories section, submit a pet photo, or join other caregivers in the chat room.

I have learned SO much from all of you, and hope you will share your experiences and knowledge with people who are going through this Alzheimer's journey along with us.

Thanks,
Kathy
