On Monday morning at 11am central time, our dear friend Jackie will be having knee replacement surgery. Let's all circle the wagons and let her know that we will all be in prayer together across the country as she goes into surgery. Together we are a powerful force.

Jackie, my prayers go with you as you enter the operating room. Angels will be surrounding you and God will be watching over the dr. as he works his magic on that knee.

Love to you, my friend. You are going to do great.

Thanks everyone! I've never looked so forward to being cut in all my life. Getting a little nervous tonight, but not much. I'm sure tomorrow will be the day that I will be looking forward to that first relaxing shot.

I won't be on here for about a week (wish I had a laptop) so you guys behave yourselves and stay out of trouble. Will miss talking to you all.

Just heard from Jackie's daughter that she came through the surgery fine. The knee was loaded with arthiritis, bone on bone and the meniscus was torn.

On another note, Jackie emailed me before she went to the hospital this morning. Her mom has had a bad cold the last couple of days. Last night she was up all night with the runs and hallucinating. Jackie's sister is there to take care of things so hopefully can get her to a doctor.

I just talked to Jackie. She is doing well.

Now get this though. Here she thought that this hospital trip would be like a mini vacation for her away from dealing with her mom and AD. Well, her roommate in the hospital is an AD patient.

Honestly, this could only happen to Jackie.

Can't you just picture it though.............I'd bet no amout of curtain--or pain--will stop Jackie from being a caregiver. God bless that big heart of hers!!!

Hi Jackie, I thought and prayed for you all day yesterday and of course will continue to. Just want you to know that my grandmother had her knee replaced when she was 95 and afterwords kept saying how she wished she had done it years sooner. She always said that it was the exercises after that were so important to recovery.
