I just received an email from Melissa and she said she has received all the necessary paper work and our quilts will be in the Chicago showing in Sept.
Now everyone can stop worrying and start planning on going to Chicago for the showing Sept. 24th.

I will be making reservations for rooms this weekend. I'll be heading back down state on Wed. and get them taken care of.

As of now, only four people (AnnR, Lori, Mundee and me) have said they will be needing rooms. If you plan on going and are in need of a room, let me know and if you want I will make sure to get enough rooms for everyone. Two to a room will make it less expensive. Let me know by Sat.

Sorry I can't commit myself right now. NOt sure whats going on with Mom yet. Overnight may be impossible as its during the week and family won't be available for work reasons, and I don't want to leave Mom with caregivers without family being around if I'll be away. I'll talk to Lori about picking me up and bringing my car. Will know more closer to date.

Lori's menu is very limited so even when she's eating chicken and potatoes she thinks she eating filet and lobster!!! So everyone is a good cook to her.

Bring all the food you like and I'll cook up a storm for you!

Reservations have been made. We have two rooms at this time. If more rooms are needed, we can get more.

Tomorrow is the beginning of September. Are we getting excited yet? I have one more confirmation on someone from the old board coming.

I am! 4 whole days to enjoy before I absolutely have to return to work! I'm saving up my pennies and I really do need to contact my foreign daughter who lives in Chicago. I haven't seen her in over 3 years! She works at the Thai consulate these days so I am checking my maps to see where she lives and works.

...and you were envious of our Olive Garden lunch! I envy YOU, now! I really don't think I can swing it. Besides having one in school, I am now waiting test results to see if my Brother has esophageal cancer. He is all alone, in Oklahoma.

For those of you coming to Chicago, I need a little favor.
If you go to any fast food places between now and then, I need those little packets of mayo, ketchup etc. Only the packets will do since they don't have to be refrigerated. Thanks girls.
