I wrote Josie, because I wanted an update, before I go on my trip, to visit Mom, and here it is: I also had a name for our Quilt, and an explaination, but I forgot what it was!!!

Thank-God I saved it, in my Doc's! So she now has that too! Full-Steam-Ahead!
Josie Di Chiara: Actually yes - lots of progress. The seamstress has put the five segments together - so it will five 4 foot by 4 foot panels with five pages each. The bios, the photos and the design all looks beautiful the way she did it but we need a NAME for the group. What do you all want to be called? Once you give me a name - she'll add it to each of the connecting panels. Hopefully should be done within a couple of weeks.
The “Forget-Me-Not” Quilt January 10th 2009
The “Forget-Me-Not” Quilt was a collaborative effort, made lovingly, by many caregivers, and patients, living with Alzheimer’s Disease, and other forms of Dementia, from across this Nation. We met on an on-line caregiver support, message board, where we garnered information, education, and most importantly, emotional support.
Many of us have said “I could have never made it through this, without all of you!” And I think it is safe to say, for the many others, that will struggle, and suffer through this experience in the future “We will never be able to make it, without all of You!”
