Just curious what everyone's gas prices are right now. Isn't it great we are at least having a reprieve from that even though we are lacking in other areas. Oh well, we will take a break where we can get one.

So here where I live in small town, IL we are paying $1.85 a gallon. Last year I believe it was up to $4.?? a gallon and my husband was traveling back and forth twice a week to school an hour away.

What are you paying at the pumps?

I saw $1.78 today, which is great. Have you noticed that the gas has come way down, but step into the grocery store and nothing has come down even one bit? Grocery shopping used to be an okay thing for me - I never minded going. Ever since the prices have gotten so high, it's almost a nailbiting experience when I'm at the register to see how much was spent this time.

I saw gas for $2.77 on my was to the doctors yesterday.

Howdy2u, I have started doing 99% of my grocery shopping at Save a Lot. I may have to bag my own groceries but they are a lot cheaper there.

$ 2.59 for premium. Crazy. 3 months ago it was almost $4.
We need to find alternative fuel sources.
How about buring all the catalogs I'm getting in the mail?

$2.10 in Miami. You'll notice this drastic drop happens every election year. It's ridiculous how these oil companies can post quarterly profits close to 100 billion, and then decide they want to drop prices down overnight. There needs to be more regulation on these money hungry corps.

Paid $2.19 yesterday. That's pretty good for this part of CA since it's our tourist season.

Okay, today I saw 2 stations at $1.68!

Joyce, we have a Save A Lot near my house, I've never been in there - I'm going to check it out next time I need something. I end up bagging my own groceries most of the time at Kroger anyway!

Here in Jackson, MI, the price was at $1.77 for low grade fuel when I was out shopping today. Last year this time, it was at $4.87.

DH says it is an indicator of just how bad our economy is that there's not much demand for fuel, so we now (at least for the time being) a surplus which drives the prices lower.

I don't know about anyone else, but it can go a heck of a lot LOWER!

:) Save-A-Lot is a great place for food shopping - so is Aldi's - you have to save when you can :)

It's about $1.96 in LA.

When I left the country in early October it was almost $4, and when I came back in early November it was half! As far as I'm concerned, I welcome this recession.

$1.62 cash yesterday. I had a quarter tank when I filled up yesterday Snick and it cost me $16.00. I'm with you. I like these new prices.

My daughter was looking at a newspaper she had from the day her 12 year old was born. It was telling how people were up in arms with gas going up to 99 cents.
