My goodness stuff comes in waves.

BIL is getting hitched here soon, I figured MIL would be all weird maybe 3 days before. It's a good long time before the day and she is going CRAZY. Every time she sees us she asks if we're going, of course we are. We've told her that like 2000 times. Just odd questions. I told my husband I'm fine with the wedding, I'm not fine with the hysteria. I am praying for thicker skin about that.

MIL found out her cousin/childhood friend has intestinal cancer that probably spread :(. Her brother is still battling cancer as well so it's just crazyhow many sick relatives she has. Thankfully (if that's the word) she forgets quickly nowadays.

Hubby is exhausted of me complaining, and I'm irritating myself lol. Thanks for letting me get it out, this forum is just such a godsend.

Kat

Kat, you definitely need a break... any chance you and DH can just go away for a weekend--no cell phones, no computers, maybe a jacuzzi and some good books to read?

If not, just remember we are here to listen/read your ventings and offer a good cyber {{{HUG}}} when you need it.

Kat,
I second what Deb said. Get the heck out for even a day if you can. But if not, she's right, we're with you all the way.

Oh Kat, I know it is so frustrating to listen to the same question over and over and just to be constanly bombarded with things that don't make any sense, so frustrating even when you know it is not really the person, it's AD. Try to get away, it will do you much good and come vent any time you need to.

Thanks everyone for the replies! Sorry for me answering back so late.

Things haven't been as bad with MIL, but FIL has a bee in his bonnet here of late. I figure he's grouchy about the health things and the wedding.

Hubby has been wonderful and been dealing with MIL and FIL for me. I think he's counting the days until this week is over to have me pick it up again LOL! :D I've been doing better, just not being social at all with the inlaws has really helped.

Thanks again! :)

Katrina
