Hello All, just wanted to give you a tip on using the new message composition functions. If you would like to change the font type, font size, or font color you must open the code, then type your message, and then close the code. For example, you would click on font type to select the font you want, then type your message after the open code, and then close the code. E.g., [fnt=Comic Sas MS] Hello Welcome to the forum [/fnt] (this is the closed end of the code). The same applies for font size and color. You can include all three modifications to your message just make sure the open code is before the actual message and the close code is after. You can also use the new quick reply function on the bottom of the threads. Try this out and let me know if you have any questions. ~ Aitan

What's different about the quick reply that I'm now using versus post reply? I guess I'll find out now.

I did it! I did it! I did it!

I posted a photo and also changed font color. Tomorrow, I'm contacting Microsoft for a job application as a computer technician. Hear they make pretty good $$$ as independent contractors!

Testing testing

Testing Blue Georgia

Veranda Veranda regular font

Comic Sans Indigo size 18

This is how I did it: Click on the font of choice, then go in between the brackets and put your curser there and click on the size choice. Now go back in an place your curser just before the bracket with the [/ and type your message. After you have typed everything move your curser to the very end of all of the ] brackets and hit enter then do the regular submit thing.

Thanks, Carol.

I'm so excited at the moment I don't know what to do! :o  :o

I have played with this function off and on for a few months but didn't get anywhere. Of course, the key will be to remember how I did that! :?:  :?:

Hey All- Just figured out a much easier way to change the font type, color, and size. Simply type your message as you would normally, and then highlight it (the whole message). Then chose your font type, size and color. The program will code it for you automatically! To make multiple changes, i.e., font color and size and type, repeat this process, highlighting the whole message and code each time.
