It's headed your way Jackie! I got out my flashlight, just in case, and then one of my smoke alarms started chirping??? Oh, I hate those things! Darn it, there it goes again, I put a new battery in it, and stll, chirp, chirp, chip!

A couple of days ago, I was just at the grocery store, the expensive one, really close by, less than a mile, and I started fish-tailing, and my car is really heavy. You try to remember, "Don't over-correct, oppps, I did, O.K. now don't over correct...OPPPPSSS....I did it again!" Was it turn into the skid, or turn away? It is hard to remember things, when you are in a total panic! Totally out-of-control, headed for the stop light, & the major highway! I'll tell you what, that will wake you up right now! Scares the be-jebbers-out-of-me!

Give me three feet of snow, and I know what to do with it, it is the ICE, I don't like that ice!

I learned a long time ago, there is nothing you can do on ice. You just go with the slide.
I agree with the snow, at least you can see it. You don't always see the ice.
I've had my share of scares when I've tried to stop only to find out there is no stopping.

I agree Jackie, the sun was so nice to see, even if it was cold.
Now it's getting warmer (up to 40) and raining - I never remember weirdo weather like this.
What ever happened to the good-olde blizzards of yester-year?

They are forecasting 48 on Monday and 25 on Tues. We never know what to expect.

I am battening down the hatches! This may be the WORST, and coldest storm, I have experinced, in the Eight years I have lived here! EKKKK! This is why it is cheap! I just noticed on the National Weather station that it is headed south! So, Joyce in Texas, you may want to stock up on some more Snow-Man decorations! HA!
