We're heading out soon to see my folks (whoo! caregiver break lol) but MIL already left for a trip today with FIL.

She left a washer load even though she'll be gone a week. Did she just expect me to do it? I threw it in the dryer and she can find it when she comes home.

She left the kitchen a mess , I had to clean it up.

Hubby thinks I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill (oh he who never caregives to his own mom) and I guess I am. It's just that even when she's not here, I still have to caregive in some way.

Dumb thing to get upset over isn't it?

At least I'll get some respite with my folks, man it's needed! :)

Thanks for listening :).

Kat

Kat,

Don't sweat the small stuff - as the saying goes. In the grand scheme of things, what difference will a dryer filled with clothes really make in our lives?

Remember, dust on the furniture simply means someone can write "I love you."

Enjoy your break.

Joyce

Thanks everyone! :)

PMS isn't a good time to write forum entries lol! I'm doing better, just alot of stuff going on and Hubby's sick to add to everything.

I'm really looking forward to seeing my folks, I miss them tons.

Thanks! :)

Kat

Kat,
Well at least the laundry load didn't have any skid marks on them huh? And the mess in the kitchen, uh remember BIL fiance? Let her clean up a bit too.

But anyway, have a really nice time at your parents. And don't think about anything except enjoying your visit with them. Just make sure you come back home, cause I'm sure MIL will surely miss you!!

Jackie
